Information area
·         Author -Emily Rapp      Book-“ The still point of the turning world”
Mother memoirs about having a child with Tay- Sachs disease.
·         There was an article in New Yorker about author  James Salter, very interesting biography.
I took one of his books Light years, very good review from Richard Ford, but I found it boring
Maybe I will try to listen to another book.
·         Author -Orhan Pamuk, I found his main book Snow very boring.
Now I am listening to his The Museum of Innocence, very delightful book, not sure we will discuss it at the club.

·         Author – Kent Haruf, his latest book Benediction, I suggest we take as our book for the month of June. The book club meeting is on June 24.
Writing here about books that we were and are reading at the club, just to have memory and remember in old age.
Also will post some information that I came across in the contemporary literature area, like other books that I read or heard and it seems interesting to me. I would like to encourage you  doing the same.
So far we had 2 book club meeting, today is the third. We meet once a month, usually last Monday of the month, but not always, today is an exception.
