ReplyDeleteCorrection, next club meeting is 7/1/13. The book is "Benediction" by Kent Haruf
ReplyDeleteI actually like Snow, and I've read his other books - My name is Red is one. I think in The Museum of Innocence he is really testing the limits of his readers' patience, with his attention to details. There is a lot to discuss, maybe too much, in any of his books. He also has Istanbul, have you seen it?
ReplyDeleteI also liked Snow
